How long will we have to wait to get our photos?
I don't think that it should take months to get photos back to clients. I guarantee a 2-3 week turn around of all your photos.
Can we choose the style in which our photos are edited?
Absolutely... you can let me know what type of look you would like your photos to have. It may be dreamy desaturated, high contrast vivid, or a natural hue. These photos are YOUR memories at the end of the day.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
If the party is bouncin' and you thought "oh man, we should have gone for a different package", don't stress - you can add on at R1500 per hour.
What about your travel and accommodation costs?
For weddings in Mpumalanga the package price includes my/our travel and accommodation. For the rest of the country I just need my basic costs covered. If you book the Brilliance package, the travel & accommodation costs are included in the price for anywhere in South Africa.
Do you design wedding albums?
I do. I offer a range of options for wedding albums from standard A5 up to Premium High Definition A3 with a personalised hard cover or linen cover. You get to choose a 'best selection' of the photos you want in your album.
What kind of gear do you use?
For the techies and the interested I shoot with a Canon 5D MIV (which also does 4K video) and have a second full frame camera and a range of professional Canon lenses.
We are just having a small affair with very few guests and a lower budget. Do you photograph something like that?
Sure. Let me know the details and we can figure something out. I am flexible to your budget. Factors that will determine the price are the amount of hours, number of guests, location of wedding etc.
How many photos do we get?
That depends on things like how long the day is and how 'busy' it is but I don't limit the client to a certain amount of photos. After excluding the 'pulling a funny face' ones etc. we basically give you all of what we have captured.
Will you make us look good?
So many couples worry about looking awkward in their photos. Remember that the 'posing' bits only make up a small part of the day. For the majority of the day you're just being yourself and I am the proverbial 'fly on the wall'. Saying that, I won't expect you to come up with poses yourself. We'll mostly just be hanging out, being natural, and having fun in the process and you'll see that the best shots come from that.
Do you offer video?
Yes! As part of the Brilliance package you get a VERY talented videographer as well as two photographers. But you will hardly know we're there.
Do you shoot destination weddings?
Who doesn't?! But yes, if it's a place in a far off wondrous land, perhaps the wedding fee might be waved in exchange for the flights and accommodation.
